Shokz is one of the leading open-ear headphone brands, pioneering bone conduction technology for athletes, runners, and active lifestyles globally. They’re renowned for their patented open-ear designs, like the PremiumPitch and TurboPitch systems that deliver high-quality sound while keeping ears open for any required form of situational awareness and safety. Their headphones allow users to enjoy music, podcasts, and calls without compromising connection and awareness of their surroundings.

Our Strategy

We collaborated closely with the Shokz team on a multifaceted influencer activation strategy to highlight the versatility of the OpenRun Pro 2 and its DualPitch technology. This approach focused on showcasing how the headphones enhance diverse lifestyles, from high-intensity training and situational awareness during runs to comfortable all-day wear for wellness routines, running errands, and other everyday activities. We worked with a curated mix of wellness, active ager, and athletic influencers to create authentic, story-driven content around their daily use of Shokz. The key goal was to genuinely educate and inspire their communities about the product’s stand-out features for every kind of active life.

Noteworthy Highlights:

Our collaboration with a diverse mix of wellness, active agers, and athletic influencers proved highly effective in demonstrating the real-world versatility of the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 headphones. These creators authentically integrated the headphones into their routines, sharing experiences from intense workouts and outdoor runs to relaxed wellness sessions, travel with family, and everyday multitasking. This relatable storytelling style sparked enthusiastic responses and built meaningful trust with their engaged communities.

The campaign delivered a strong performance with an impressive overall engagement rate of 2.52%, outperforming industry benchmarks for sponsored influencer content. Two of our creators had viral posts, with over 1 million views in each of their posts.

The primary objective for Shokz was to achieve a CPM below $20. We were able to surpass this by 60% and finish the campaign strong at just under an $8 CPM.

We produced over 20 pieces of diversified content, capturing authentic daily use scenarios that showcased the innovative benefits of DualPitch technology, the safety of open-ear design during adventures and family outings (especially with the kiddos!), and extended battery life for prolonged wear. Creators illustrated how the OpenRun Pro 2 seamlessly enhanced their lifestyle without compromising awareness or comfort.

As a result, the campaign generated vibrant, organic conversations across Instagram and TikTok, created virality across several posts, and positioned us perfectly to retarget high-intent creator audiences at the bottom of the funnel.
